what RCCs do
Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) are specifically trained to help people improve and maintain their mental health and well-being. Clinical Counselling is typically sought when a person experiences challenging situations, thoughts, feelings, or circumstances. Clinical Counselling is a partnership between RCC and clients, who work together to reach agreed-upon goals and outcomes.

2023-2026 Strategies
We know where we’re going, and we know how we’ll get there.
Our 2023-2026 strategies have been designed with growth, sustainability, and value for members in mind.
1. Prepare our members for regulation under the new Health Professions and Occupations Act
2. Be an integral and contributing partner to the Clinical Counselling regulatory process with the Ministry of Health
3. Prepare the BCACC to be THE premier mental health association in British Columbia
4. Enhance the governance and operations of the Association to effectively fulfill its strategies
