Student Membership
In 2024, BCACC’s student membership grew and reached over 1,000 members.
This development is indicative of the increasing interest in mental health as a career and in becoming RCCs. As nurturing the next generation of clinical counsellors/psychotherapists is a top priority of BCACC, the association is looking forward to continuing to work with master’s programs in relevant fields and growing student membership in the future.

As an association, we are committed to guiding our members through complexity by offering a variety of free, timely, and relevant sessions each year. These sessions provide clarity and support to RCCs regarding their membership and professional practice, including topics such as:

Members have accessed the practice and clinical support service this year over a number of different topics allowing the association to understand members needs across multiple professional environments, and from the vast variety of experiences members face.
The service not only supported members but assisted with targeted education planning according to the identified needs and data collected.
